Recently I've been running this in RA
[card]Mind Blast[/card][card]Rodgort's Invocation[/card][card]Fireball[/card][card]Flame Djinn's Haste[/card][card]Glyph Of Lesser Energy[/card][card]Fire Attunement[/card][card]Glyph of Sacrifice[/card][card]Resurrection Chant[/card]
That's right. Fire Attunement AND GoLE on a Mind Blaster. I don't think it's an overkill, because being able to practically spam Rodgort's on recharge ownss. It doesn't quite help keeping your team alive like your build does, but the damage is quite impressive considering it's a lot harder to prot than melee. My biggest succes so far with this build is a 14 win streak including beating a team with Loral and some guy from dT in TA. (though I was pretty useless in that match because Loreal kept Dshotting everything)

I know Aura of restoration get hated, but wouldn't it be at least average since you spam rodgort's? or maybe glyph of restoration.
I'm talking about RA of course, but you mentionned both RA and TA so i don't know what this build is for.

It's for RA, but after 10 wins you automatically go to TA, y'know?
Glyph of Restoration > Aura of Restoration in any way possible, but more importantly I don't know what you'd drop for it.

Yeah forgot about the arena switch at 10.
I'd drop glyph of lesser, mind blast + attunement is usually enough for me

I generally put Mantra of Concentration or Mantra of Resolve on my mind blaster.
Just because Rodgorts is so long, and Mind Blast pretty much can make up for Mantra of Resolve.

I don't agree with that at all. Aura is a cover enchant, it will almost never be interrupted, it's more efficient over time, it wastes less of your actual time, and it will generally heal for more over time as well. Glyph of Restoration is just crap.

I believe it's much better to have a well-rounded bar on a caster...unless you're planning on synching with two defensive characters. Doesn't matter if you can do that crazy damage if your team is just going to drop. Also, Immolate > Smoldering Embers > Fireball.

I'd definitely take Mantra of Concentration if I was going to sync with a Monk and could afford to drop the Breeze.

A Breeze isn't going to do crap if you're being melee trained. It isn't too effective otherwise either.

Dark escape helps to survive many difficult situations like KD chain or shroud of silence, while return works great against melee train. It works great for me, and I can handle myself well in RA and TA. Besides I don't need any other skill in place of any of those, I don't miss anything on my bar. But yeah I'm prolly bad cause I have 2 defensive skills.... you got me

I've been RA'ing with a pretty standard shock eviscerate build. Works well with a decent team. dual kd due to [skill]bull's strike[/skill] and [skill]shock[/skill] is always fun.

A nice W/P pressure build I've seen around fairly often. Played it some, at 14 str and 12 spear, it does good dmg, can take out spirit spammers, and is shit-easy to play

BIG thumbs up to Holy Spear. Few things I enjoy more in this game than planting one right in the stupid face of a Wanderlust spirit.

Needs less Galrath, Less Hamstring and more Bull's Strike. Put Shock in the free slot. I'm also not a fan of Heal Sig, but it's not that bad.

not sure shock is all that great on a battle rage bar though, to be honest. Shock would drain all your adrenaline, and end battle rage. But Hamstring should be bull's strike, and galrath's could probably be disarm or maybe even savage slash (for an interrupt).
Also, Sun and Moon slash, oddly enough, might be better than final thrust. Or perhaps have it replace heal sig. Either way, it's pretty good with the double adren from battle rage.

you cant have heal sig and shock with battlerage
and final thrust does not work well either
the point of battlerage in RA is to throw on some maintained enchants and dive in head first swinging
if you really like battle rage i suggest you try the build i posted, it actually works decently
but if you want stuff like heal sigs i suggest you dont use bring a different elite like dragonslash, but i think i remember you saying you only have prophecies so i recommend getting the pvp access kit for $20 which i think gives you access to all the expansion skills if you are serious at getting into pvp

You have Flame Djinn's Haste to kite and B-flash to shutdown. Breeze heals the degen/incidental damage and it actually goes a long way. B-flash and Breeze are often enough defense to get good win streaks on teams with no Monk but tons of offense.

i've been playing this for the last month after not really needing shield bash anymore (sins are baed). Not only is it completely hilarious but it's actually pretty damn effective.
[skill]Zealous Benediction[/skill][skill]Reversal Of Fortune[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Spirit Bond[/skill][skill]Guardian[/skill][skill]Holy Veil[/skill][skill]Natural Stride[/skill][skill]Distracting Shot[/skill]
Attributes:
12+1+1 Prot
8+1 Divine
10 Wilderness Survival
Equipment:
Shield + Martial weapon (standard set)
+5e bow (interruption set, for d-shot)
20%HSR +30hp focus, martial weapon (high energy set)
just monk as you normally would but swap to bow set to interrupt stuff as you please. once D-shot is recharging, or you dont see yourself using it any time soon go back to your shield set.
Use natural stride to kite/avoid melee spikes.
key things to d-shot that are normally around in RA: shadowsong, res sig, melee shutdown. can be used to counter sins by d-shotting their lead attack, which is pretty fun also

Looks like a fun (only RA) build. Usually that's my philosophy in casual PvP, any time I have a free slot/secondary on a caster, throw in dshot.
However, those sets are pretty bad. I'd definitely go with:
Shield + weapon
+5e bow
40%/20% prot staff of enchanting
+30/-2 high energy
Considering that you're down a set, you're probably going to have to forgo the normal 40/40 set for spamming ZB under pressure, so you're going to have to use your prot staff for that. But you definitely need at least one efficiency set, either a 40/40 or a 40/20 staff of enchanting, for spamming ZB and helping out your prots.

Maybe I'm an asshole, but I'm tired of those mending wammos that can't kill anything and blame everyone else around for the loss.
Seriously, what you wanna do with mending? Did you not notice it does NOTHING most of the time? First enemies will ignore you, cause you deal little to no damage. Then when everyone else is dead you will die in few seconds cause you have no real defence only some stupid little regen.
Just use your brain.
